Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Positions

Innovation ABA is searching for part-time RBTs in Delaware to provide the highest-quality services to children on the autism spectrum. We provide one-on-one Applied Behavior Analysis in various settings, including in-home and in the community. Don't have an RBT certification? Don't worry we'll help you earn it.

Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Our services aim to improve behavioral, social, and adaptive skill functioning. Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions from a BCBA and accept feedback is essential. The preferred candidate is patient, reliable, organized, willing to accept direction, and professional. They are respectful of the client's right to privacy. They are flexible and understand that various life circumstances may affect their clients and their families. yet they remain committed to helping. The ideal candidate is also prompt and accurate with communication and documentation. In addition, candidates must demonstrate a commitment to serving a population of individuals with challenging behaviors. This professional must be willing to perform therapy services both in-home and in-community settings.

Most positions have therapy hours between 4 PM and 7 PM.


APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS:

*Completed a BACB-approved RBT preparation course (we will provide one before hire if needed after a successful interview)

*Effective oral and written communication skills 

*High School Diploma or equivalent 

*Valid driver’s license, insurance and access to reliable, personal transportation. 

*Ability to pass criminal background checks 

*Ability to pass Child and Adult Protection Registry Checks

*Physical skills: Ability to lift up to 30 lbs, get off the floor from a sitting position quickly

*Attention to detail and the ability and willingness to follow directions and accept ongoing feedback

*Reliability

 

HIGHLY PREFERRED: 

*Current Registered Behavior Technician certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board 

*Associates/bachelor’s degree (preferred) 

*Prior work experience with children/special needs/autism/mental health/healthcare
